Short Term Expedition:

Japan – FALL 2026

October 16, 2026 to October 25, 2026

Why Japan?

Japan is among the more spiritually-needy countries in Asia. Divorce, suicide, and withdrawal from society are current social ills. In addition, with a healthy economy, Japan attracts foreign workers from 3rd world countries – like Nepal. Among those workers are Christians who can make a difference to both fellow foreign workers and their Japanese employers and neighbors.

Given that English is still the world’s economic language, we are partnered with a school and church that uses English teaching to build bridges for the gospel and discipleship. This trip combines the opportunity to minister to Japanese through English-speaking gatherings AND to help the Christian Nepalese foreign workers be encouraged and equipped to do the same in their circles.

What Will We Do?

We will partner with an English School/Church and professors at local universities to connect with students in their classes, and follow up with them with the gospel. We’ll help host several ‘English Club’ events and seeker group in the evenings. We’ve been invited to outreach alongside another church for the Asian Special Olympics going on that week, and we’ll serve the homeless with additional partners.

What Will It Cost?

Depending upon departing US city of participants, the cost for travel, admin, and in-country expenses is estimated at $2650, depending upon final team size.
